Hires right out of college. Flexible working hours (although this seems to have decreased over the years)

Cons

Poor pay. When they raise the base pay for new hires, they don't raise the base pay proportionally for those who have been there. As a consequence, I have been there 9.5 years and have earned senior specialist (before that senior chemist) but am making the equivalent of someone hired with little to no experience and two levels (associate level) below me.
