Poor pay. When they raise the base pay for new hires, they don't raise the base pay proportionally for those who have been there. As a consequence, I have been there 9.5 years and have earned senior specialist (before that senior chemist) but am making the equivalent of someone hired with little to no experience and two levels (associate level) below me.

Management is incompetent and refuses to listen to employees suggestions or critique. Management who fail to listen get promoted because their own management is incompetent, essentially a cycle of scum. They will promise you great things and "a great company to work for" but getting inside you will quickly realize the bait and switch. Pay is the worst in the industry. If you have any other offer take it and don't look back. This is the worst company I have ever seen in my entire career and I urge any clients looking at this company to go elsewhere for scientific studies. The equipment is outdated, the procedures are bogus, nobody is trained properly and they will cut any employee who questions management decisions or offers advice.
