Pros

Good benefits package, which however diminishes every year (reduction of health insurance scope and primes)

Cons

Old style man-only management team with no concrete interest in innovation, customer centricity or talent development Profit driven quarter by quarter Despite its international customer base, only French nationals, often with limited international exposure, access senior management positions Toxic environment that tolerates bullying and harassment Often individuals with no industry experience are recruited for leadership roles: internal talent and expertise is ignored by management Inconsistency of branding: while the baseline claims the company "enables connectivity for all," employees are forbidden to work from home...

Pros

Excellent benefits (above the law), flexible hours, home office, etc.

Cons

To grow inside the company is very hard, almost no recognition. The company is very burocratic, loooong internal process for everything. Very bad work environment.

Experience in the technical department - Operations

Pros

The compensation and benefits (high number of annual leaves) are higher than other companies in the same sector (aerospace industry) in France, especially looking at the Technical Department. If you want to learn more on the technical side (satellites operations and procurement) is the right place to be.

Cons

In the technical Department there is no possibility of a growing career path and changing inside the company is very difficult. You can acquire experiences, new responsibilities in your restricted field, but always remaining in the same position and with the same job title. No big incentives if you improve your productivity or if you want to do more. This aspect is more related to the cultural way of thinking and power of the Unions in France. In their opinion, small salary increments for every employee is better than giving increments following merit and productivity.
