The energy in the catamaran kitchen is weird Managers suck and will try to manipulate you into working days you can’t (especially holidays). Higher positions in the kitchen were in some sort of relationship with eachother, tips were definitely not fair. Managers will literally break rules and then be super strict on you on dumb stuff (like socks to wear). The head chef thinks he owns this place. Also so many people would just not show up to work because of how managers wouldn’t listen to you about availability— so it would screw over other workers.

Pros

The team really cares about its people and there's so much to learn from the job. Managers are knowledgeable and very friendly. The benefits are good and it's fun to work because there is never a dull moment. I was able to get 2-3 raises within my year of employment, but the pay is still on the lower scale of HR Coordinator in comparison with other industries.

Cons

Sometimes the hours can be very demanding based on duties and responsibilities and other assigned projects. The hours can vary from working on the weekends and staying past 5pm on a weekly basis.
