Pros

As a longtime employee and constant cheerleader, I'm proud of my career with EN. The teams I work directly with are full of some of the most talented and passionate people I know.

Cons

Leadership stresses their desire to promote from the bench but destroys paths that would allow employees to do so. Constant restructuring is exhausting and it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep faith in our future. In recent years we've begun acquiring for-profit partnerships that stand in direct opposition to the missions of our existing partners (zoos, aquariums, science centers, historic locations etc.)

Nice, clean work environment. Gym.

Cons

This place is a shiny and bright on the outside that soon fades once you are settled in. The company "Culture" is all smoke and mirrors. Management is one big click who has no care for the lives of everyone else. They make poor decisions that negatively affect all the people working very hard to keep the business churning.

* Very poor handling of the Covid-19 crisis. * They eliminated 95% of my staff in an effort to stem the bleeding *Forced us to renegotiate our new pay or be left jobless without a chance at unemployment.

To describe the Covid-19 events of the past months as unimaginable and unforeseeable is a significant understatement. Every organization has been impacted. Event Network’s situation is uniquely challenging as we rely on the combination of social gathering and retail. Event Network, as well as many organizations across the Country, were faced with the unimaginable but necessary decision to implement shared sacrifices of furloughs, salary cuts and terminations across our Store Support Center (Corporate Office) and Stores. Our President did not take a salary and we were able to support our team members on furlough by covering 100% of their healthcare benefit costs. As cultural attractions reopen and guests return to visit our amazing partner venues, our goal is to bring back affected Team Members to Event Network as business returns post COVID-19 store closures. We look forward to showing our appreciation for your service and loyalty. Thank you for being part of the Event Network family for more than 8 years!
