Pros

Good people, doggie Friday’s, beautiful campus, nice venues

Cons

First of all it’s ineffective to have the ceo in one office and the rest of the employees in another. At one point they hired a bunch of external talent to drive the business forward. They’ve since fired, demoted or forced out all of those people because the ceo didn’t want to hear what they had to say, which is that the company will not grow under the existing org structure. They’ve let go of great talent and hang on to the yes-men who have no idea what they are doing! The managers are an absolute joke and have no business leading teams. They bend over backwards for certain people and others are completely ignored when it comes time for promotions. The entire leadership team leaves by 3pm and everyone else stays and works.

Pros

free breakfast for employees. casual dress.

Cons

open up your eyes! this company needs the ceo in the office. the people running the departments are clueless and lack the skillset to carry out your vision. nor do they play nice. the gusto mantra means nothing. there is no going forward with courage because EVERYONE is vindictive and out for themselves. have never worked at a more toxic place. people in place without the proper training, so if someone doesn't like you--they can tell your boss they don't like your work and the bosses are so clueless they will believe them because they do not even know what you do! won't be here long. that is for certain.

Pros

originally started as entrepreneurial company with a small feel that valued employees; local staff/environment generally psotive

Cons

company preaches open-door/entrepreneurial culture then reprimands staff for following the culture; management dictates from a distance instead of leading; CEO is so far removed from company operations and reality that it has become an ongoing joke among staff; absolutely no room for growth; disrespect and harassment run rampant throughout company; entrepreneurial spirit is crushed by severe micromanagement at all levels. Pres/CEO preaches importance of work/life balance then expects salaried staff to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week and to cancel vacations for last-minute "visits", etc. HR Team is now called "talent development" yet there is no visible plan to teach/guide/mentor/develop staff company-wide. Company has strayed from its mission and is now focused on cheaper product, less man-hours, shrinking budgets and expecting more with much less in order to finance president's/company's "compound" in Utah. Dozens of valuable people have left in the last three years, which should be sending a message but nobody is listening. Joint owners of the company don't even get along or agree anymore--what does that tell you?
