Pros

Everyone is friendly A real team environment Work/life balance is good (flexible schedules, time off available when asked for)

Cons

Disorganized & stressful at times Only sales leads and management can do certain functions, like opening the drawers to make change, which makes sense except when there's only one sales lead in and they're on break. Customers don't understand and it can be very stressful.

Pros

The Boston Childrens Museum is a fine Childrens Museum

Cons

The Museum Store is not operated by The Boston Childrens Museum , but by Event Network. This company is slowly taking over museum stores all over the country and homogenizing them, taking out all the character of these once interesting shops while trying to wring as much profit out of the clientele as possible. The corporate management rarely visited the stores, making it possible for poor management to flourish with no accountability. Truly one of the worst job experiences of my life.
