Pros

They work well with your school schedule, it’s a fun job, and you learn a lot about leadership skills in a team work environment.

Cons

Late hours sometimes. They CUT your hours when the season is dead. My issue was my former boss not being okay with me leaving the company. Last weeks of working she didn’t talk to me or worked with me. So unprofessional she told everyone how I’d be leaving and she made it seem like i was the bad person and employee.

Pros

They're hire you even if you aren't qualified for the position because they're desperate to fill that position. If you work at corporate, they will provide small breakfast and coffee in the morning. There are fitness classes, gym, and shower offered at the main corporate office. Medical benefits exist, but very pricey, not a whole array of options in pricing, but at least they offer it. Sick leave and maternity/paternity leave is available.

Cons

This company tries too hard to have a unified vision, but majority of the top executives in management don't carry out that vision to have it trickle down to the rest of the company. They push a lot of this good "culture" attitude, but nobody in the executive roles execute it and it becomes very fake and obvious of the social interactions that goes in the company. Turn over rate at this company is high, every year average over 20 people in the corporate office would quit or get laid off due to the constant unnecessary re-structuring of operation. There are very few folks in leadership position that do try to make the work environment the best, but however someone from up top will make things difficult. And most of all, the best talent have already left the company while the rest are currently over worked trying to fill in for the empty positions that are gone. CEO push on the message about always promoting internally, but the rest of his executives will end up hiring outsiders. If they do promote internally, there is always mis-management as the most hard worker and high performer gets ignored, while the employee that kiss up to management has a higher chance of getting the promotion. Store employees are treated the worst as they are on the retail level and looked upon as the bottom of the hierarchy. A lot of the veteran store directors that have helped build this company has left or forced out due to terrible communication and treatment from the higher management.
