Pros

Eventbrite was a great place to work- a wonderful group of people who were very friendly, very smart and worked well together. They took very good care of their employees- daily catered lunches, many activities, upper management that knew everyone by name.

Cons

The only negative is that I felt that I was trapped in my role and didn't have an opportunity to branch out and try other things that interested me. This is OK for people who have achieved certainty in their careers but younger employees who are trying to figure out how they want to position themselves need more cross functional opportunities and career guidance.

Pros

Eventbrite has a very fun and quirky culture. It's feels like a big family out to revolutionize the ticketing industry. And it's growing very fast, offering employees a great opportunity to make an impact.

Cons

It's a relatively frugal company, so you're not going to get perks like in-office video game consoles and drumsets you might see at other startups of its size. But everyone has fun with what they're doing, so it doesn't matter that much in the end.
