People are nice and mostly professional.

Cons

I cannot speak for the culture in underwriting. In the support functions, especially Marketing and HR, teams are very small and overworked. There is no plan or strategy, just constant reaction to incoming requests. Atmosphere is toxic, and senior management knows and does not care. Senior leaders of these groups are known to be abusive and bulling to staff and no one does anything about it.

Bad Culture with New Regime of ex Chubb, terrible systems and support

Pay and benefits are ok.

Cons

Lack of respect for employees by new management who are ex Chubb people who were demoted /terminated there prior to move to Everest. Employees are dressed down in meetings with curse words and this happens even at CEO level. The new wholesale group has terrible morale lead by non wholesale person. Rules by fear.
