Pros

Good Management team and good training, you get the resources you need to be successful.

Cons

Extremely low base salary and while the sky is the limit with commissions, it is 100% on your shoulders to build a territory and client portfolio from nothing to something. Typically takes 3+ years to make real money.

Pros

It's a miserable job. Guess the people are a pro?

Cons

Baits and switches, false promises, deception. Will LOSE money working here. If you aren't in the male managers' "boy's club" good luck keeping your job for over a year. Women are treated terribly as well. Director is disgustingly selfish and painful to listen to. Actually painful to be in any meeting with him, especially a one on one. Just a dreadful time.

Pros

- Significant autonomy - Easy to perform the work remotely - Some of the managers are amazing trainers - They are somewhat concerned about your work-life balance - The base salary is competitive - Decent training for new recruiters - If you work 2 years of 50+ hour weeks you will probably make $100K a year working only 40 hour weeks thereafter if you are an average recruiter.

Cons

- Nepotism is somewhat of an issue. This won't prevent any opportunities for you but people who perform badly are not often fired if they are close friends with management. - Your success is heavily dependent on how good a teacher your manager is. - Managers are promoted based on sales ability, alone. - It is a ridiculously boring job. - The way CyberCoders markets to get new clients is dishonest. - Team events are overrated and generally a waste of money to go to if you live far from their headquarters in Irvine, CA. They will pay for only a portion of your trip if you are performing at expectation.
