Pros

Good if you are just starting out in business and don't have anything to compare to.

Cons

Managers can be great - the senior ones are very strong, but the majority of the new managers have no clue what they are doing. Commission structure is bad; turnover is demoralizing.

Pros

Beyond monetary reward, you have to see what we do is really help people accomplish their goals, advance their careers, and create opportunities that were not there previously. Nothing is more rewarding and satisfying than getting a call from candidates and clients who are highly appreciative of the work and efforts you put in. You can do this at any recruiting company but not every recruiting firm is able to provide the resources, tools and ability to succeed like CyberCoders. Our competitors hate us for one reason... the recruiters we have simply have the tools, resources and tech that allow us to outperform and over deliver compared to some of best recruiters in the market. Now I am not saying every recruiter here is better than others in the market, thats like saying if gave someone the best set of golf clubs he would be better than Tiger Woods. What we do have is a competitive advantage comparatively and if you are a solid recruiter elsewhere your recruiting game will only get better here. In regards to pay and culture, what is not to love about the opportunity to make life changing money, work with highly motivated positive people, in a very diverse and competitive environment? I don't know of many places that give men and women of any age the ability to make multiple 6 figure incomes right out of the gates w/ no catch or ramp up comp structure. enough said! Lastly, the ability to grow in your career is great as well. I have been here for about 4 years with opportunities to go into management after my first full year, so there is a clear and proven way to advance your career if that is what you are looking for. I was pretty young making really good money and I wanted to travel a lot so I didn't take it the first time around. Now I am older and settled so it made sense for me to start building a team, so here I am.

Cons

Taxes... This is my biggest frustration but it has nothing to do with CyberCoders. Honestly the only con I can say is the fact that you will not believe the kind of success you can have here until you achieve it and the amount of work and hours you have to put in to really be the best here is kind of crazy when you start off. Even now, I am doing really well but I know that there is another level to this that I have to have faith, belief and trust in. When I started off I didn't know or comprehend the fact that at twenty something I would really make 6 figures, pay off all my college debt, have the ability to buy a home, and drive a benz. It took a lot of early mornings, long nights faith, belief and trust in myself, management and the company to get me here. So if you are not willing to do what it takes to be successful, do not have a lot of confidence in your ability, or you aren't keen on taking direction this may not be a place for you.

Pros

Huge database of candidate resumes, phone numbers and email addresses. They spend a ton of money on posting job ads and premium linkedin accounts. If you have phone skills and work ethic you can make a lot of money here. Unfortunately, the culture they promote is an email marketing culture, rather than a sales culture.

Cons

Culture. It's one thing to hire people with no sales experience if they have the traits of salespeople and you are willing to train them on sales. It's another thing to hire people who don't have the characteristics of sales people and train them only to be email marketers - spamming candidates and further damaging the reputation of the company. The company has a generally poor reputation among candidates. You walk into the Playa Vista office and you are likely to hear nothing but the sound of keyboards clacking and maybe 1-2 people on the phone. It's dead and sterile.
