Pros

Free Snacks & Coffee, Great Office Parties If you are looking for an entry level sales role this place is a great place to learn and sharpen up your business development skills.

Cons

You spend most of your day doing Business Development and finding emails & telephone numbers. If you have former recruiting experience this place is not for you. The do not put much emphasis or value in the recruiting side of the desk nor the candidates that you are presenting. Also their business model is to "ghost pitch" candidates to clients that you actually do not have. I was also in the office from 7-7 most days and some days even past that. One of their biggest selling points is that their CRM Cyrus is the best thing since sliced bread and its really not. If you can't write a good boolean searches Cyrus will match you with totally irrelevant candidates and email blast them too. I received a boat load of hate mail while at CC from candidates because Cyrus just emails blasts anyone with that has for example JavaScript on their resume.

Pros

I've been working at Cybercoders for nearly 2 years now and am extremely grateful that I jumped on board. The primary thing that drew me in initially was the flexible work schedule, the "no micro management" culture and obviously financial opportunity. My first year I did okay, but if I'm honest, it was my own fault for not working as hard as I could have. Towards the end of the year I began to work with some solid clients and saw the potential of what it looks like when you have clients actually wanting to hire and not tire kickers. That and seeing colleagues do extremely well who were putting the work in motivated me to put more effort and time in to build a consistent client base. needless to say, it's paid off, and I'm very stoked :) I've since referred several people to the company and they have done well on their own desk as well. What makes the company so great is that they invest so much in each recruiter. The Cyrus platform is second to none, and anyone coming from another recruiting company knows just how amazing it is to have all the marketing elements automated. It allows you to focus on your own desk that much more. The culture, location and overall opportunity is amazing, and I mostly writing this to say thanks. I plan on growing with the company long into the future :)

Cons

the snacks are swiped almost immediately upon being replenished lol

Pros

CyberCoders has been the best company I have ever worked for and I have been in the workforce for 15+ years now. I enjoy coming to work knowing I will be surrounded by positive and energetic people all striving to grow in their careers. I know others who hate going to work and I am glad I don't have to feel that way at CyberCoders

Cons

The only downside is that it is a sales job so the numbers can be up and down. So as long as you are able to keep going when times are tough, a person can do great here. I am going on 3 years now and even in the tough times I still feel fortunate and have the encouragement of my team to keep things in perspective.
