      Pros

      While I can only speak from a corporate point of view, ECS Federal has been a great place to work. They have a strategic vision and go about corporate development in an intelligent way. Management is transparent about the company's operations and goals.

      Cons

      As in most companies, some processes could be better defined and implemented and communication between divisions could be improved, but overall I have no significant complaints!

      Flexible work schedule, and I work with a lot of smart and hard-working people who seem to truly care about getting the job done and the growth of the company.

      Communication from the top is lacking.

      Pros

      They are large enough to offer opportunities nationwide. However, if you find an opportunity of interest, it is difficult to transfer or interview due to customer relations.

      Cons

      Leadership is constantly chasing the next dollar. We are contract employees "Advisory & Assistance" contractors. For us to be employed we must have a contract for coverage. That's what brings in revenue. No contract no job. We are considered a "butt-in-a-seat". Leadership bids contracts with pay cuts for the employees in order to win the contracts. Benefits are sub-standard also.
