Pros

A job is a pro, I guess. Getting a paycheck when you really need it is a pro. There is not much else here to be happy about. This is the worse place I EVER worked, seriously.

Cons

Horrible disrespectful ‘culture’ here. They lie to you before you take a position, be warned! There is absolutely no life-work balance. The norm is for everyone to put in very long hours just to prove their loyalty or something. It is actually required for everyone to work over 55 hours a week and they monitor you with a time clock. There is really no reason for this, but the management has no idea what they are doing. Like I said, the management is dangerously incompetent! Everything is done last minute and in an emergency, which is why you have to work very long hours and you even have to work on holidays and on weekends. The ‘University’ is really a diploma mill and the school is a total joke. It is very overpriced, but the students do not get their money’s worth. The management and the president make huge salaries and then they will never even buy needed office supplies because they claim there is no budget. All of the peons working here are doing the jobs of at least 4 people. Don’t let that be you if you can help it! The management will never be satisfied and the turnover mentioned in other reviews is extremely high!

Pros

This job is only good to use as a resume builder, if you need the experience stick it out for as long as you can tolerate, then use this experience to get a professional job that value their employees. My cons will explain why...

Cons

-Very poorly managed, Corporate is located within an actual Campus and they mainly operate on the word called pride. Being on campus, they torture their employees all day, and I mean they literally have offices in the mix of campus employees and actually work amoungst them as if they are wanted there. -Corporate people treat and talk to you as if you are not human beings, no respect is given. They are not professionals at all! -They need much help in their training dept. as they do not properly train you, but yet expect perfection and slam you when you make a mistake. -There is a revolving door for certain positions, at some point they need to realize that the problem can't always be everyone else. -Many are secretly dying to get out of there but are stuck b/c they have began taking classes and will have to refund all of their tuition reimburstment (which is like ($80K) if they quit within a certain time frame. Do not attend school there! -Make sure you get a job before quitting there and tell the prospective employer not to contact your current one due to conflict of intesrest. Reson being, they will not give you a good reference just b/c you are quitting them. Again, Did I mention how disrespectful, unprofessional & prideful their Corporate team is?

Pros

Honestly none that I can think of. This place was a joke when I worked there and I’m still in shock that they have lasted this long.

Cons

Leadership is horrible. If you want to make changes look at the higher ups that are problem. I just look at all the responses to negative reviews from management. In their messages you can obviously tell there is a pain point being hit. They know it. I know it. All previous employees know it.

Dear Reviewer,We are aware that you continue to post over and over again, as you are personally trying to attack the University and President. Contrary to your posts, Everglades University continues to grow, win awards, add campuses, add programs and have great success. We have an excellent staff and team! Everglades University
