Pros

the kids you help and the bonds you make with your coworkers are the only things that will keep you going. Nothing else.

Cons

There are so many cons to this place I could write a book. Upper management or “Higher ups” talk to you like you’re a slave or a child. No respect. No appreciation. When they do show appreciation it’s so fake it’s almost offensive. You can work 10 hours straight and be mandated up to 3 times a week to work an extra shift that day. They don’t care if you need to pick up your kids or anything and will threaten to fire you if you go home when your shift is over. They constantly harass you to work more hours because the turnover rate is so high they overwork the only people who stay. They take advantage of people who need the money to keep their families and pay rent. It’s so sad. Anyone saying anything good about this company is higher ups lying to make themselves look better. You can be beat up, hurt badly, get attacked by a student and need to go home and they’ll treat you like crap because you needed to go to the hospital. Agency charge is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I could go on and on but you should believe me when I say this place is a nightmare. if you were smart you would apply somewhere else.

Pros

The students are amazing, maybe a few staff are.

Cons

They advertise that they pay for your education? Well that is if you sign a 3 year contract and they don’t fire you a month before that. They have screwed over more Employees then any other company. They also like to demote and move staff around to keep you there longer. This company will under pay, understaff and will push off all responsibilities. They need to just just clear out all upper management besides Scott and Judy. Other then them it is all done on personal preference. Personal bias is all the rest of management uses. Often leading to positions being given to the all the wrong staff. They will blame staff for everything and then fire even if it is totally uncalled for. They are always short staffed leading to staff being hurt. Then will punish people when they are hurt by demotion, moving them or just waiting till an evaluation comes up and then finding a way to put them on a corrective action plan or just firing them. Staff there expect to be fired when being called to a conference room on Fridays, that’s how bad it is. Nothing changed they just create nee potions with no real power to make it look as if they are doing something to correct problems when they are just doing it to make it look better.

Pros

This job pays a living wage and than sum. The best thing about this job is the overtime i love it!! The job itself is also very rewarding you feel like you're accomplishing something when you're teaching the kids, it's also a fun job you get to go on field trips all across the beautiful countryside of massacusetts i use to have to wake up early morning hauling 80+ pound boxes being yelled at by a supervisor. Here you're supervisor will bearly talk to you. everytime i see my paycheck i smile i can't believe it.

Cons

I really can't think of any reasonable complaints about this place with out it sounding like a vaguely stated pet peeve. Some people complain about the overtime which is nuts considering you can schedule all you're overtime to work with you're schedule i mean come on 4 hours extra per week really? is that what gets people upset for gods sakes some people in mcdonalds beg to work a extra hour at the end of their shift.
