Co-workers are wonderful, Ethics/Management isn't
Pros
Coworkers are wonderful and motivated to participate in the work. Building personal connections with clients is rewarding. Pretty flexible schedule. Lots of training, which is nice. Lunch break is required and enforced. Shadowing is a part of training. Company provides vehicles and supplies for client care. Have the appropriate tools to complete the job.
Cons
Compensation is not competitive, insurance is very expensive and low quality, management is changing and no one knows what they're doing. Makes disability accomodations selectively, not a trauma informed workplace at all (despite having staff take an educational course regarding a trauma informed practice and workplace). Questionable ethical decisions by upper management. Unpredictable day-to-day schedule makes state required 10 minutes breaks nearly impossible.
