Pros

Very flexible when it comes to scheduling. Most of the other staff members are very friendly. Many opportunities to learn and apply new skills.

Cons

Very few opportunities for advancement. EverGreen also doesn't offer much in benefits. There can be a lot of drama in the workplace at times.

Pros

Working at TESC is an amazing opportunity to further your education in both an academic and employment related ways. Staff have countless opportunities to attend career building workshops and attend a variety of seminars and certification processes. Senior staff is incredibly intelligent and close to always willing to listen to your concerns.

Cons

The only problem about working at evergreen is that it is significantly out of the way from what masks itself as civilization.

Pros

Hourly wage often equals minimum wage, but the state of Washington has a fairly high one. On the contrary, many on-campus jobs offer $10+/hour for new hires. Working with staff and faculty can be enlightening and helpful for those pursuing a degree.

Cons

Budget for tutors assigned to a particular academic program is often low, resulting in few available hours and worse pay than a comparable job at another branch of the college. More work = less money. Also, many jobs are work study only, a frustration for those without it.
