Pros

There isn't much good that came out of me working at Everspring. Other than the community events (Pot Luck and Game Nights), there's nothing else I can think of. I woke up every day hoping the place burned down.

Cons

Everspring has now resorted to having Beth Hollenberg and other high level employees write favorable reviews on here. Especially the one saying how other reviews of Beth were unfair. Listen, one or maybe 2 bad reviews are just bitter employees. But when you have a large number of bad reviews bashing Beth Hollenberg and Jeff Conlon, then there's definitely accuracy behind it. Don't fall for Beth coming on here and saying how great she and the company is - it's a total ruse. They're already talking about reduction of work force. So if you're currently working there and are clueless about your job being eliminated, then you're probably on the chopping block. I hope you're aggressively looking for a new job.

Pros

Smart, kind colleagues who are creative and talented. You will get exposed to more types of tasks than you may get in a traditional office set up (chaos, work hours, etc). Get in and get out. That's what I'm doing. A growth industry that is interesting

Cons

CEO (Jeff Conlon) and President (Beth) have a dysfunctional relationship that trickles downwards. Co-founders are micromanagers and lack integrity, character, and stability. They're well-coiffed and overeducated used car salespeople. Everspring in general -- they need to tone things down and stop overpromising the world to partner schools things that they absolutely cannot deliver. Communication within the organization is very poor. I'm befuddled that such a small organization is so entrenched in such silos, but there's very little cross functional communication. Poor PTO. Benefits are subpar; pay is lower compared to industry standards

Everspring Response

I generally choose not to respond to attacks posted online that have the primary aim of being personally hurtful. I am making an exception in this case because inaccuracies in your post demean the tremendous accomplishments of your colleagues and co-workers. We are building a great company at Everspring, in support of world-class universities. Far from “overpromising,” we are delivering outstanding results, thanks to the talent and commitment of the Everspring team. These include student and faculty satisfaction scores well above 90%, award-winning instructional design, world-class “Net Promoter” scores from our partners and students, and retention and on-time graduation rates that meet or exceed those being delivered in our partners’ comparable face-to-face on-campus programs. These results change students’ lives and generate meaningful resources for our university partners to re-invest in their students, faculty, and scholarship. The attitude displayed in your post is insulting to everyone here who is working hard to build something excellent and meaningful. This forum is anonymous, but your words have impact on real people. We encourage you to come forward to either me, Beth, or Susan so that we can address your dissatisfaction or provide resources to transition out of Everspring. Life is too short to be so unhappy. Especially when your dissatisfaction reflects poorly on the great work of your colleagues and our team. -Jeff (CEO)

Pros

Pay was decent, good downtown environment only good for those who have no life and just wants to make bucks in,short time

Cons

All management do not care about front end employees, no work life balance. From interview till my last days all promises are made just to prolong fake promises. I was ashamed to be a part of an organization who promise to change life but give so much hard time to their employees.
