Pros

-The people that you work with are great, the recruiting team does a nice job bringing in good talent, retention is another story. -Relaxed dress code -Great office location

Cons

Take note of how the reviews are trending at the, a sign of the eroding culture and high turnover at the company (not to mention most five stars oddly say the same thing with little to no substance behind the review). Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, Denver has a booming job economy and almost all companies of this size offer better pay and benefits. The owners want to grow the company as fast as possible to get acquired and as a result they have sacrificed quality for quantity, which is felt by every team. 1.) The benefits package has to be the worst in Denver for a company of this size: • No starting PTO (one day is earned each month) • No sick days (if you get sick either get the entire office sick or burn up all your hard earned PTO days) • No commuter/parking benefits • No 401k match • The health insurance that was brought in house is truly awful. • No continuing education, tuition reimbursement. • Starting pay is in no way, shape, or form "competitive", the commission compensation was also grossly overstated upon hiring which is very disappointing. It was represented as close to an additional 10k, yet we have been annihilating monthly goals in 2018 and are not coming anywhere near those totals. • I'll just stop there 2.) Management is very disengaged and out of touch with the day to day aspects of the job. • Any suggestion for a process improvement is met with “well it’s a lot better than it used to be” • Almost no accountability or oversight for important components of the job, but a ton of micromanagement and rules being put in place for very trivial aspects of the day to day. • Those who are personal friends with management are the first in line for promotions…shocking. • You are brought together two times a month as a company, which is a lot of fun, but afterwards you realize they essentially just boast about how much money the company is making and it is not reflected in anyone’s paycheck.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your time with us. With regards to pay and benefits, we offer compensation that is competitive for the specific roles we hire for. For instance, the salary we provide to someone in an entry-level customer service role is comparable to what other companies in the Denver area offer for this type of role. We’re also very transparent about everything related to compensation during the interview process. We certainly aspire to continue enhancing the benefits we offer, but some of your feedback on this topic has us a bit confused. For example, we offer pre-tax commuter benefits, full-time employees have the ability to select from multiple health insurance plans through Cigna, and new employees are able to use up to 5 days of PTO even if they have yet to formally accrue the days. If any this wasn’t made clear to you, we apologize. Working for a high-growth company certainly isn’t for everyone, but we're proud of the fact that our turnover rate is significantly below the industry average, and we're confident that our best days are ahead of us. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts. We hope you find your next role to be a better fit.

Pros

Great culture and people. Very young vibe in downtown Denver

Cons

Specifically for the travel advisor position, the management and structure was lacking. For this position make sure you are ok to work morning or nights, weekends and holidays.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback about your time here at Evolve. Your are correct that some of our customer facing positions require people to work non-traditional hours, but we do our best to make this very clear during the interview process. We wish you the best of luck in your next role.
