Pros

Super fun industry and was able to make great friends within my team. The benefits and salary were decent as well.

Cons

So many rounds of layoffs since May 2023 across the organization. However, they still find the resources to promote employees to senior and executive leadership positions. Also, hiring for roles that they had mass layoffs for just a year ago?

We appreciate your review and are happy to hear that your team, salary and benefits were of value to you during your time at Evolve. It is our responsibility as a business to make necessary changes that adapt our strategy to the current market challenges. While difficult decisions were made and we have work to do to rebuild trust, we are optimistic about the current state of the business. Thank you for your review - we wish you the best of luck moving forward.

Pros

*Fully remote work. *Several good co-workers here and there *Straightforward work and expectations, making it easy not to take work home.

Cons

*Pay was not adequate for the amount of abuse received from customers, particularly evident during market downturns.. *Management consistently increased responsibilities and workload without corresponding pay raises. *Misleading promises of professional growth; promotions often go to inexperienced individuals. *The company's slow response to ongoing issues hindered the timely adoption of new ideas. *Frequent layoffs, especially in the past year, reflected an overhiring pattern followed by cutting veteran employees to reduce payroll expenses. Constant restructuring led to significant pay cuts or terminations. *Management often showed indifference to escalated issues, prioritizing avoidance of direct involvement. *Employees who raised concerns about colleagues not meeting established standards were sometimes terminated with alternative justifications. *Varied levels of leniency in employee treatment were observed, often due to team staffing challenges.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding your time at Evolve. We appreciate your dedication over the years you spent with us and for taking the time to provide feedback. We are actively working to improve our communication with teammates and are excited for the efforts coming out of our most recent Engagement Survey around strengthening trust, confidence, and growth. We’re also pleased to share that new growth opportunities (via initiatives like upskill development sessions & lateral/promotional movement), alignment around role accountability and expectations, and leading by example are all critical elements of our new Account Management organization, which our Performance Team is now part of. All feedback is important and this is an element of our culture we will continue to focus on. Thank you again for your feedback.
