      Pros

      The company is somewhat good on teaching you things to help you sell their products by the sp computer programs but don't ask your manager for help or advice because you will probably have more knowledge than he or she does. Use Ewing as a steeping stone to better your career somewhere else.

      Cons

      Upper management treats hourly employees like dirt. They look down on you while they take all the credit. Like I said before you probably know more than them. The word peon comes to mind because that's how managers treat their employees. They expect you to do all the manager duties and they don't pay what you are worth.

      Pros

      I you need a job and you have some basic skills then its a job to have till something better comes along. You will learn somethings about the irrigation industry if this is a field you like. You will also have the opportunity to learn about other companies and how they work incase you are looking to join them. Its a M-F and 1/2 day on Saturday.

      Cons

      If you are looking for a good career then I strongly advise you not to look here. If you do have the skills to get the job done you will not be paid accordingly. Need to stop spending money where it does not matter. The employees need it more. Trianing can be done better. Need to truley get that family run business feel back. Owner needs to learn the business and a better interest in the employees. Need to stop calling perks that are NOT perks when the employees are paying some in order to have them.

      Pros

      Education, when I came to Ewing I had no previous experience in the green industry. Ewing will teach you what you need to know and then some. Family owned, you will be looked at as a member of their extended family not a number. Fun, it can be stressful but fun is in this companies DNA, all you need to do is embrace it.

      Cons

      Every company has Cons, Ewing is no different. I choose to focus on the Pros and do my best to make every day FUN.
