Pros

Great location, some great team members, good treatment of military students, good distance learning technology & delivery platforms

Cons

Top Notch Leaders let go back in 2010-2011, promote the clueless and hot air team member into leadership positions, organization has lost its tight knit culture that existed back in the 2010-2014 time frame.

Pros

Management could have better leveraged the expertise that once existed and listening that had already been done to improve student experiences, retention, enrollments, etc. The mission and talent were, at one time, highly competitive.

Cons

Poor management, business decisions, office politics and vision have systematically disassembled the good that once existed. One by one, the hardest working, most passionate, talented and knowledgeable people - the ones most dedicated to students - were driven out and replaced by yes men leading to the current low enrollments, negative student and staff reviews and declining reputation.

Pros

Excellent co-workers although this is dwindling as the good ones keep leaving.

Cons

The only upside to working at Excelsior are my immediate co-workers. The senior leadership is deaf and continue to spend money unnecessarily to fill more, worthless leadership roles. Career advancement doesn’t exist. There is no freedom at Excelsior. Either you get in-line behind a narcissistic provost and a clueless president or you get out.
