Pros

Coworkers are great and Exchange Bank has a great reputation in the community.

Cons

Lack of vision from leadership. There is no growth within the organization and pay is below market.

No one cares about the branches

Pros

Branch teams are awesome, they’re on the frontlines enduring every challenge and change upper management throws at them

Cons

Upper management is out of touch, constantly throwing big changes at the branches with zero regard for branch health. Back office department heads continue to alienate tenured branch employees by calling them “combative” for asking questions or pushing back on things that don’t make sense. Back office does not like feeling questioned and never admits when they are wrong. They do not support the branches at all while the branches are the ones getting screamed at by customers when online banking takes nearly three weeks to activate. Outrageous and outdated policies that make zero sense and only make more work for the branches. Company also has not adjusted its pay scale in over 2 years.
