Pros

Company treated us well when we were there…mostly. Good benefits, bonuses, and training. Lots of free food. But I was never quite comfortable with how they would just march onto the call center floor with security and escort employees off the property, with no warning, to terminate them. So it should be no surprise that they laid off their entire call center… over three hundred employees, during Covid. Then they took the government bail out money and saved themselves. Even my boss was laid off. The head of the call center. Don’t trust companies like this who only look out for themselves! Laying off the entire operations center was such a knee-jerk reaction. They must be way over leveraged to have made such a hasty decision. Don’t get too comfortable with this employer. They are not to be trusted.

Cons

See above. It’s all there.

Exeter certainly strives to maintain an excellent employee culture along with very good benefits, competitive pay and bonuses as you confirmed. The closing of our Utah call center was a very unfortunate outcome of a global pandemic the likes of which had not been seen in modern times. Employees who were affected by this event were treated with compassion, dignity and respect, some which relocated to our office in Texas, and others who were re-hired as remote employees without loss of tenure.
