Exigo Office Review

Pros

The office setting is dim with the glow of a bunch of multiscreen workstations. (Not a bad thing to walk into in the morning.) All of the office staff (including C-level people) are extremely nice and very helpful to new employees. They accept "newish" people to the technology but you'll be expected to ramp your knowledge quickly and on your own time along with being trained on the job.

Cons

Hard to say... I guess that they ONLY serve lunch 3 days instead of every day of the week... (Yeah, it's nice..)

It's so good to hear that our efforts are appreciated! Exigo's vision is to create a platform for developers to learn on the job from some of the best and brightest minds in the space. We have incredibly talented team members who continually improve their skills, even at the highest levels of the organization. We're always looking for new ways to help our employees learn and grow, so let your manager know when you have suggestions. By the way, we have some exciting changes coming soon with regard to lunch. You're gonna love it! Thanks for your review!

Pros

Upper management and the senior developers here have superior and advanced knowledge of technology and really know how to achieve fast, efficient data processing. Anyone who has a passion for learning will benefit from working at Exigo and learning from their vast experience in a data-centric, fast-pasted industry. Employee benefits are through the roof, and apart from that they take excellent care of their employees. Extra time and effort is noticed and rewarded generously. Upper management takes great joy in throwing parties of various kinds, so everyone is always having a ton of fun in and out of the office.

Cons

While the online documentation for Exigo's API and other public-facing software is pretty good, there is very little internal documentation. Anyone starting fresh at Exigo must be able to learn and adapt quickly to survive. A big part of knowing how to solve problems at Exigo is knowing to whom questions should be directed, and there is a lot of knowledge that various people have that should be written down in a centralized location. Prospective employees should expect to be shown how any part of the system works, but they should also expect to do research outside of work to learn the system.

Your excellent suggestions are duly noted and have been routed to the executive team for consideration. Successful on-boarding is as important for employee success as it is client success. As you are aware, things are always growing and evolving at Exigo, which is why we value folks who show initiative, can think on their feet, and take the time to grow personally while we grow as a company. Thanks so much for your feedback!

Happy to see that you're enjoying being part of the Exigo family! Wasn't that barbecued brisket last week for lunch delish? Nom, nom, nom. (Luckily, we not only cater lunch, but we make sure to have plenty of napkins on hand, too.) Oh, and don't forget the salad bar five days a week!
