Poor management culture

Pros

Solid work life balance, decent benefits

Cons

The biggest issue in EFR is the management, which is generally unprofessional and unkind. Supervisors and senior management are incredibly gossipy and judgmental. Criticism is rarely constructive because most of them have never done the job themselves or are so far removed from it that they've forgotten how to actually do the work. Morale is at an all time low because of the huge push towards AI and the clear move to offshore, culminating in layoffs.

Pros

Solid tools and resources to do the job

Cons

Most toxic culture I have ever been apart of. Micromanagement is rampant, they forced a lower department to relocate or get fired after forming this team only a year or so before they made this announcement. Have seen PIP plans utilized without clear stipulations or related to actual KPIs. Promotions are stagnant throughout the department even though there are great performers I’ve seen stuck in roles for years unless they move to another state. The general tone in meetings and communications are very disingenuous.
