Pros

Great office, location, and colleagues. The job itself is very manageable/rewarding and the enterprise accounts allow for a steady amount of work to go around.

Cons

The high turnover rate and negative environment is a direct correlation to untrustworthy upper management. Upper management displays an outright lack of appreciation for employees. Compensation is lower in relation to other recruiting agencies.

Pros

Great/fun team of recruiters (that probably no longer work there) Location of the building, which is near the Metra and good lunch spots Free coffee and filtered water in the break room Sadly, that’s about it.

Cons

Poorly managed, slow moving company. This organization and office is plagued by excessive bureaucracy, passive aggressiveness and pointless rules made by the team leader and middle management. This alone should deter you. The leaders of the team have some questionable ethical behavior/non-existent moral compass, which has caused a massive amount of turnover. 90% VMS accounts, which means you have to submit a candidate to an online tool and then not get any results or feedback. This is NOT real recruiting but more along the lines of a customer service representative. AKA giant waste of your time if you’re actually interested in recruiting, sales or HR. Training and professional development is extremely inadequate and the team leader has no sincere interest in developing those under him. There are much better or should I say, “actual” staffing companies in the Chicagoland to work for and Experis doesn’t even come close to being at the top of the list.
