Pros
Discount was great, especially during special sales just for employees. Fun work environment. Fairly easy to get time off if needed. Before starting each shift, you had to talk with the managers on duty to see what was on sale that day, if there were any problems earlier, etc. This was really great, because it was a quick and efficient way to keep employees up to speed.
Cons
Recovery could last HOURS after store closing. Sometimes it seemed like there was no rush to get out of the store before 1 AM! The computerized scheduling system was not the best method. And it's impossible to find the website online if you forget how to access it! As with all retail jobs, too much emphasis on credit cards. We were even told to try to get young kids to beg their parents to sign up for them.
