      Pros

      Benefits package is generous. Culture is laid back (eventually becomes a negative).

      Cons

      IT area is struggling to adapt to modern development practices and methodologies. Pace in some areas is more like watercrawl than waterfall. Too many "comfortable" folks in positions of influence just collecting a paycheck and not pushing company, leaders, and peers forward.

      40% employee discount which can be combined with other promotions up to 30% off as well as ExpressNext Rewards. Ability to work in fashion retail, improve your own wardrobe as well as the wardrobe of customers who visit the store. Love the people I work with. Great company!

      Pros

      First time 50% off employee discount, high quality merchandise, orientation was helpful and some training when you first start. The customers were generally friendly, as were some of the other associates.

      Cons

      Barely any hours at all!! I asked for 15 hours per week and I was depending on that financially, and they would only schedule me for one 5 hour shift per week, OR... not schedule me at all! They also didn’t respect the times that I had requested and ended up keeping me at the store until midnight some nights when I had to be up at 6 am for my other job. There were multiple managers, all equally rude and made us feel demoralized. Highly critical, and not helpful. One of them would walk around and criticize the way you folded the pants table, or ask what you folded and then criticize it. Barely any training, only 20 mins of training on the register and then you’re on your own. Only a 15 minute break, not even enough time to eat...this has been the worst retail job I’ve had so far, and it’s my third one.
