Pros

Great way to learn to work in a very fast-paced, demanding environment. There are lots of opportunities, lots of different areas to learn.

Cons

If you live in STL, your WFH options can be almost zero. St. Louis traffic can be a lot like LA traffic, so hour-long or more commutes are common depending on where you live. It'd be more efficient timewise to allow more flexibility. I think it'd improve morale a lot, too. Workload is also very unevenly distributed within depts. I don't know if this is human nature, but for those who have a heavier workload than everyone around them can be disheartening. The bureacracy in some departments is also ridiculous. It can take months sometimes to get something done that could've been accomplished in a matter of hours.

Pros

Enjoyed the work, raised the pay scale, flex program, good benefits

Cons

Lack of consistency when it comes to rules, flex program is not run properly which causes dissent in the department, employee favoritism, extremely toxic work environment
