Pros

- Good work life balance and day to day independence in roles - Mostly great people who are smart and talented - Good benefits and equipment

Cons

Would not recommend working at Extend - Lots of sales turnover and organizational restructuring which is masking the fact that executive leadership doesn’t know what they are doing - Irresponsible growth, the CEO explicitly stated in biweekly company update that he would NOT be doing layoffs & turned around and did exactly that weeks later. - Work in silos, not much interaction with teams outside your own - Onboarding from an HR standpoint is poor - Disorganized

Used to be a Great Company turned Toxic

Pros

- Ok Salary (not sure if competitive with its peers) - Paid Health Benefits - Very promising product with huge growth potential - Fully remote is possible

Cons

- The company grew too fast and culture went down fast as well with lots of finger-pointing and blaming (under the guise of transparency and getting to the root of the problem) - Promotions are based on who you know - Very bro-y and cliquish culture - this is a result of having hires coming from too many referrals - Unlimited PTO but I haven't used even the normal number because of the amount of work that is given - they're doing too many things too fast - Super long hours - I always get pings on Slack and emails late at night just so "they can get it out there." - CEO used to be transparent but now I'm not sure.

Pros

I joined for the people, most of which are no longer here. Easy product to sell.

Cons

Toxic culture, management has no idea what they are doing and they play favorites. Several layoffs, more work and less recognition. Told we are lucky we have a job at Extend. The only reason more people haven’t left is because the job market is not great, but everyone I know is actively applying so they can leave this place for good
