Who cares about unlimited PTO! The leadership team is so chaotic, nobody in the company knows what's going on! Do NOT join Extend! There are plenty of other start-ups hiring Software Engineers

Cons

Leadership bullies junior-level employees, especially Software Engineer I and IIs Sexual Harassment from C-suite Nepotism EXTREMELY HIGH turnover! No COMPANY EVENTS! We are a virtual team and there are never events. Onboarding is a disaster - no HR involvement No goals or OKRs are set for teams Nobody has any idea what is going on, things change on the fly Salesforce is a disaster and nothing is properly updated DO NOT JOIN!

- flexible PTO - Remote work environment and some availability to work in an office in a few cities

Cons

- Chaos at Exec level - No communication from the top down so no one knows what is going on - No vision for the future - only focused on profitability for the company and all decisions are made based on that, not what is best for the company or product - Execs don't care about their people at all - Major layoffs consistently and no job security - Constant finger pointing across teams; very little collaboration Overall, I would avoid this company at all cost unless you want to be looking for another job in 6-months like every one else who starts

Extend lies to employees, investors, and the media about the growth of the company, market share, runway, P&L… everything. Literally everything is a lie, especially if it comes from Woody, the CEO. The company is not doing well, no matter what you hear the CEO say. Stay away!!
