Pros

* Great team culture and people. Everyone has a great attitude. * Very organized with clear product roadmap, requirements, and deliverables. * Many product ownership and career development opportunities. * EM's, Devex, Devops etc. work hard to keep you unblocked and productive. * High degree of professionalism and friendliness. * Fully remote. * Employees are shareholders and you are treated like one. Personable and very engaged CEO. * Company is very engaged and in tune with your needs. Extend takes feedback very seriously.

Cons

* Never have had a week working <= 40 hours. On average I'd say around 45. Product initiatives are action packed and fast moving which is mostly a good thing but it's easy to experience burnout. You will be very busy all of the time during business hours. * Product development, while very gratifying, is a grind. When you finish a ticket, there's immediately the next one. When you complete all of the sprint work, more gets pulled in. Often times, the team is accomplishing a lot and yet it still feels like we are not on pace to meet our product roadmap deadlines which can feel a bit defeating. Specifically, in the product engineering org, it feels like our velocity is the most scrutinized and our work life balance, while not bad, isn't stellar or doesn't seem as good as other engineering divisions. * The "Unlimited PTO" policy, while nice, feels awkward and confusing to use. How much time can I really take? How often? Our sprints are tight packed and we're always very busy that a single engineer on PTO has a large effect on whether or not we meet our sprint goals and every sprint feels like a very important one.

Pros

None at all, company is a disaster

Cons

Company is a complete mess. Senior leadership hired a VP of Sales with zero sales experience. Employees were told how great the company was doing then immediately laid off dozens of employees. Software is mostly vapor ware. Stock options are essentially worthless. I truly advise you to look elsewhere for employment.
