Co-workers become family
Pros
Understanding and flexible work environment. Management cares about employee's home life. Plenty of challenging situations to hone your improvisational skills. Opportunities for career advancement are abundant, you will have to put in a lot of work to get the "cushy" jobs but once you do it seems like they take care of upper staff very well. Good incentive if you are willing to trudge through the bottom rung.
Cons
Schedule varies week to week, "cutting corners" is an understatement. Guests have challenging expectations. Forced to take lunch breaks on overnight shift while still expected to perform work duties. Schedule is weekly and subject to change unless you are adamant about when you can't work. May lose hours if not flexible to company's needs.
