Pros

There is room for advancement

Cons

There's a lot of favoritism with higher management. Also, its HR isn't very responsive

Pros

I’ve been with the company for 6 months now and things are starting to improve. I get support when I need it! Upper management is really investing in my property and me and things are changing all for the positive! I work hard but have flexibility and am I’m powered to make decisions and am supported in those decisions. For the most part I have an amazing loyal staff and we make a great team.

Cons

Horrible condition of the property when I started! Everything from guests not paying, drugs, prostitutes and homeless. Horrible staff that just didn’t care, didn’t want to work and no supplies to do the job correctly. I spent the first 4 months putting out fires and getting all aspects of the property in good shape.

Five years of my life - GONE

Pros

Because we are left alone to figure things out- I self taught myself a lot of hospitality experience to take to a better brand

Cons

Too many- but some top issues: company could care less if a young female working alone at night has to deal with homeless, drug addicts, and violent situations by themselves. Even after requesting security at-least on weekends, our property was overlooked. At least 10 incident reports a month for police calls. Property is at MOST a 2star, but we were expected to get 10star reviews. Leaks from ceiling, dishwasher- mold in several rooms, drunks/addicts/homeless everywhere, no way to provide customer service due to strict labor cuts. One person alone cannot do it all! Corporate is non existent if you need them - but God forbid you sneeze wrong and there they are! NO WORK/LIFE BALANCE! I’ve missed 5 years of my child’s life dedicated to ESA - disgusted with myself for giving them that much of my dedication
