Extra Space presents a people first culture and does everything within it's power to embody that. The company goes above and beyond to support and keep it's field employees. From full time hours with benefits and pto to tuition discounts, there is a lot to be grateful with here. Anyone who is committed to working hard and being ethical, can find a happy home here.

Cons

There are some opportunities to increase advancement and development tracks. The company runs a very flat organizational structure, which makes sense but could be frustrating to a long term talented employees.

Company core values are truly embodied by all employees at every level. I started as a SM in the field and worked my way up to the Senior Division Learning Manager position. This company believes in hiring and promoting the best talent. We are focused on PEOPLE to drive performance. The company spends the right time on developing people with numerous tools Advanced programs, Launch training, LDP/EDP, team trek, WorkDay Learn e-learning courses, etc. Company has a great feel, honestly I can't say enough about working for ESS. Best Company I've ever worked for!!!!
