Extra Space is a company where Values are very important. The people who get promoted the ones who live them every day. Passion, Excellence, Teamwork, Innovation, and Integrity are not just words posted on a wall, but are what really drive the culture of the organization. Work/life balance is stressed more so than any other company I have worked at prior. Also the senior leadership team is very down to earth and it feels like a small family business - even though we are the largest self store business in the country. I had a hard time finding a company that was willing to take a shot on me after being laid off from my prior employer, as I was not relocatable and had worked several years in the fitness industry. Operations experience seemed to have become more specialized and it was challenging to find a company willing to look at someone without experience within their industry. I am so thankful for the opportunities that I haven been given by Extra Space and look forward to many more years here.
