Pros

QA training program is very thorough. It teaches you all about the industry, the OMS, and the technology behind it. What's great is that you don't need to have a lot of finance or tech experience going into the position. The managers, leads, and other more senior analysts provide a lot of hands on support. You also get to help train some of the newer analysts as they start.

Cons

It is definitely overwhelming at first and there are high expectations of you right from the start.

Pros

Eze OMS wins awards for being the best in its niche industry. Eze Castle hires competitive and smart individuals to work in a profitable industry. Good company for managers who have already climbed the ranks before the mass hiring began a few years ago—Eze markets its job postings very convincingly.

Cons

Self-described as taking pride in its culture, Eze has lost its roots as a start-up and entirely faded into an overworked group of dehumanized recent grads, most of whom still drink the Kool-Aid and deny this reality. My department featured particularly immature and unapproachable managers—some who literally won’t lift their eyes from the computer screen for you—who created a very stiff atmosphere and did not give themselves time off from their work to ever actually “manage”. These managers take performance evaluations very seriously and yet judge extremely artificially (ie. globalizing gaffes as if major patterns) seeing as how they hardly ever check in or work with you. Additionally, the bonus is false advertising as it reportedly amounts to hardly more than a paycheck, and employees are mostly stuck for two years instead of the sales pitched 12-18 months before moving on to consulting—which is just a glorified “Geek Squad.” I witnessed 70+ hour weeks and even a full 24-hour shift go unrecognized and completely uncompensated. Also note that the hours are 8am-6pm with a lunch that is pressured into generally lasting no more than 10 minutes. Former department members still recall the good old days, but that ship sailed long ago.
