Pros

Great place to start your career and make amazing friends along the way. Eze does a good job of hiring like minded people. Pretty good benefits.

Cons

Eze used to be a great place to work. In fact, I would go as far as saying that I looked forward to going to the office everyday. Unfortunately Eze has gone through a lot of change very quickly. Our old bonus structure was completely stripped away and now Eze is slower to promote people. Opportunities (both lateral and upward) have become fewer and fewer. Attrition and morale are at an all time low and senior management isn't doing anything to fix it. They're so focused on the bottom line that they aren't doing anything to try to remedy their largest issue. All of my close friends at Eze have either left for another company or are looking. Whenever you hear of another person leaving Eze the typical reactions are "I'm looking too, can we talk about how you were able to get out?" or "I'm so jealous". Everyone is miserable.

Pros

You work with a lot of great people at Eze, but more and more of them are leaving. All of my direct managers were fantastic and truly cared about my growth and success.

Cons

Over the last year or two Eze has rapidly declined. Just take a look at the rating trend on this site; that is no coincidence. A complete overhaul of the service model was undertaken about 2 years ago, and the company is still reeling from it. It made sense for the company to make changes for long term scalability, but the plan was incomplete and the employees and clients suffered for it. Growing pains are to be expected for such a significant change, but upper management's refusal to own up to the mistakes eroded employee morale and trust. On top of that, there have been several compensation structure changes, each billed as a positive only to result in lower than expected salaries/raises. Unsurprisingly, this has led to an extremely high attrition rate, especially in the client service group. The CEO, who a year ago boasted Eze would become the Apple/Google/Amazon of FinTech, now accepts well over 20% attrition rate as in line with industry standards. The people used to be the best part about Eze, but with more and more quality employees leaving each month, employee morale is at an all-time low. On top of this, they have yet to adjust hiring rates to compensate. Teams are understaffed and underpaid, and it is starting to hurt clients. It is inexplicable for a company that prides itself on client service is allowing this to happen. The only question is if it is due to gross incompetence or complete indifference.

Very poor leadership

Pros

- Great benefits - Very generous parent company (owned by TPG Private Equity) invests a lot in growth

Cons

- Eze Software has invested tens of millions in the new product offering. Typically, this would be a very good thing. The problem is they built the new product without understanding what the customer needs. Therefore, very few customers have migrated to the new platform and even fewer like it. - TPG will likely notice this very soon and shake up the leadership ranks (maybe this is a pro) - Shutting down development in Alpharetta, London and de-emphasizing Chicago. Moving most development to India. - Removed most of the RealTick sales and product teams and refocused its development teams to the new, poorly conceived trading platform (IMS). As such, RealTick revenue has gone down significantly.
