FDM Group reviews

They definitely give you a foot in the door. Honestly a great starting point for a career in tech.

I'm a bit fascinated by some of the reviews I see here. I can understand where people are coming from, but I think there's a lot of context missing. I just finished up my 2 years with FDM recently and feel I have some insight into the program. While FDM doesn't do everything perfectly, they're definitely not a "scam" or out to get you. They provide a service, you're told up front what the terms are and you agree to them or you don't. For context, I graduated with virtually no experience or internships and had very little job prospects. I joined FDM, went through the program and was placed with an okay client. I can't say it was anything overly special, but it was a lot better than having no job. I have since moved on and gotten another job I doubt I could have gotten without the resume I was able to assemble over the last 2 years. I'd probably do it again if I were in the same position, but I dunno. At the very least look into the program and make your own conclusions. The reviews on here seem wacky and ultimately having an interview with them doesn't hurt you. Pros: It's a job connections to good companies you could work for long term the people are nice the training does provide good skills especially if you come in with a dry resume like I did. It's also fully remote so you can basically work from home for the weeks of training.
