      Pros

      In theory, they do good work. However if you look closer you will start to question things. Unless of course you are one of the dinosaurs who have been there forever. Then you think it all great.

      Cons

      Management without people skills. Ineffective HR department in dealing with issues. Too many senior managers that have old ideas and need to retire or listen to next generation. No tuition reimbursement yet they value education. Salaries are below industry standard. People tend to stay one year or 15 years. No middle ground.

      Lots of young, innovative thinkers who care about global health and world issues.

      Cons

      Nearly impossible to do anything other than make copies and plan meetings unless you have a PhD. Seriously. Employee Reviews, Career Growth, Salary Structure, Hiring Process are all extremely subjective. FHI360 is severely underpaying their staff - especially considering all the government financial support constantly pouring in. Major communication problems internally. Lack of opportunity to move around organization. Limited interaction with staff working in foreign countries - very easy to feel dettached from the mission.
