Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, not much experience necessary. Tremendous networking opportunities within the securities law community. Pretty easy for top achievers to stand out of the herd.

Cons

Not much opportunity for advancement. High performance is not rewarded commensurately with pay, work is highly repetitive. Performance reviews are tempered in order to protect against significant pay raises.
