Thanks you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We assure you we do read what is being said about us. We're sorry to hear you feel like there is no clear direction to recent changes. If you don't already, we encourage you to participate in department-specific and corporate-wide town halls to hear more from senior management and to raise any specific questions you have.

Pros

Awesome mission; positive workplace; great benefits and salary. Expectations are high, but the rewards are there. Not a great place for people who like to just tread water or "get by."

Cons

A bit slow to change; a few entrenched, old-timers who should just move on; long time between promotions.

Pros

The company offers a lot of training opportunities Holds town hall meetings to inform employees of the company’s happenings

Cons

Too many layers of management makes it difficult to get things done Lot of backlogged work makes it frustrating for the member firms it tries to regulate For an organization that prides itself on investor protections, FINRA should do a better job fighting for it employee morale is low when hard work doesn’t lead to much

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We are in the midst of transforming our Examination and Risk Monitoring program to make it more effective and efficient, relying heavily on feedback from current and former employees as well as member firms and other stakeholders. We believe the changes we are making will mitigate or eliminate the frustrations you mention, among many other improvements. If you have additional feedback, you can email glassdoor@finra.org.
