      Terrible place to work

      Pros

      The only good thing about this place is they allow flexible work schedules. I don't have anything else good to say.

      Cons

      This place is a career graveyard. If you want to be at the same level and about the same salary for many years, then you might like it here. Career wise, you will be wasting valuable years that you can't get back. They even had the audacity to take a week of vacation from some Metavante employees after the FIS/Metavante merger. (possible pending lawsuit when I leave company)

      Salary seems to be above average for the industry.

      Cons

      Poor management communication, no training, understaffed, overworked, no increases for two years across the board as we are told, benefits not in line for a company of this size, facilities are mediocre...I could go on and on, unfortunately.

      Pros

      For me, the best reasons to work at Fidelity were the customers. The old InterCept approach of building a relationship with the clients were phased out as Fidelity took over. The system used to assist customers was great, and there was always an opportunity for training the client.

      Cons

      Management by fear and intimidation, double standards, lack of communication between employees and supervisors and management. Disharmony, low moral and mega-micro-management.
