Pros
Benefits package is decent I suppose
Cons
Some of the "managers" have zero managing ability. Some are great. I went through three different managers in less than three years. Constant restructures and reorganizations completely changed the scope of the position from when I started. Raises and promotions were basically nonexistent during my time there. Coworker was given a promotion with zero increase in compensation. Nearly impossible to see any sort of salary increase. Even though the IT manager of the company I was dedicated to also raised the issue with my team's manager at FIS. The one raise I did receive wa so negligible (0.7%) that I didn't even know I had received it for four months. The in-call rotation and procedures changed frequently to the point many didn't know when they were on call or what the procedures were. FIS set unrealistic expectations for the client which constantly left the client frustrated. New hires were brought on to my team who were paid more than me (senior member of the team at that point) while basically having zero knowledge. Ridiculously high turnover rate kept knowledge constantly walking out the door and everybody else trying to pick up the pieces. Workload was so overwhelming I brought it up to my manager who told me to turn down new ticket assignments. Was then knocked on my performance review for failing to take the initiative even though my productivity was nearly double that of most members of the team.
