      Pros

      Management in my department is good. They do their best to accommodate employees and try to make FIS a reasonable place to work

      Cons

      For years - there have been no employee bonuses, cut backs in benefits - promotion freezes, pay freezes. What raises that have occurred have been very small. Management keeps telling the work force about how great the company is doing and how it is all because of the employees. The employees get nothing, while senior management gets millions of dollars in compensation.

      Pros

      Most areas are expanding, so it is good for you if you are in these areas. You'll probably be able to keep your job, if you keep your nose clean.

      Cons

      Unstable work opportunities. Unless you're in a stable or expanding area of responsibilities, look for a transfer to another area which is growing. For the most part, You have to do it yourself, rather than being offered.

      Pros

      They have excellent training and reference resources for your day to day job. You'll learn a lot about banking, payment processing, technical troubleshooting, bill pay, tax services, and call-center customer service. All of those skills combined for one job looks good on a resume.

      Cons

      It's a lot to learn in a stressful environment for little pay. There's no good incentive programs or bonuses for the hard work that's put in to managing the phone lines and irate customers. Also, it's a 24/7 operation center, so schedules aren't always flexible.
