      RIFS, RIFS, more RIFS

      Pros

      A lot of talented personnel. There is a sense of one team among most associates. There are external learning opportunities.

      Cons

      RIFs have increased from every 3 years to every 3 months. The recent financial blow with the announcement of the spin off brings a lot of uncertainty about what the future will be in 5 months let alone 5 years. Many of the chiefs are retiring or left. Technical debt is pretty large with many systems needing to be rebuilt or replaced.

      Colleagues are great to work with. Most are very professional. There are work from home opportunities.

      Cons

      This company is in total chaos. Hiring freeze for the last few years. They don't replace employees that leave, they just expect everyone to pick up the slack. Everything is escalated as an emergency. No raises for a couple years. It's a top-heavy bloated company. Upper management doesn't seem to care about the employees. Also, there is a lack of basic tools needed to do the job. It's like working for the government to get anything done. Very slow.

      Absolutely nothing good about working here.

      Cons

      My 2 years at the copany were some of the worst of my life! They have a very toxic environment with horrible leadership! It was so bad, it affected my mental health! Micro management all the way! No appreciation for work!! Job roles not well defined!! A huge disappointment! Sadly, At times I felt i was mistreated due to my race!
