Toxic & Terrible

Pros

Pension and 401k are great, used to be a fantastic place to work and grow your career. Lots of people who are super talented and bright

Cons

Management at the top has become completely detached from the front line staff and operations. Change has been relentless over the past 5 years, all with little noticeable improvement. Strategy and vision are non-existent, persistent “keep doing what we’ve always done” mentality. Technology is out of date and does not enable employees to do their job efficiently. Toxic managers are allowed to destroy those that work for them and are continually rewarded despite their behavior. Throughout the pandemic, despite emails from leadership saying otherwise, these toxic managers continued to pressure employees to take on more and more and had no regard for mental health, work/life balance or overall well being. Mass exodus has begun to happen and top management isn’t allowing all the positions to be filled - allowing for more work to be piled onto the already burnt out teams. No regard for those leaving either; I was a long-tenured employee and didn’t even get an exit interview. Mentality of “everyone is replaceable” is prevalent throughout.

Coercion and Discrimination

Pros

Overall, they have good benefits.

Cons

This company is ruthless. If your beliefs don’t align with their agenda they will drop you in a second. They coerced HUNDREDS of employees to partake in an unwanted medical intervention by threatening to rip away their career, livelihood, and way of providing for their families, oh and they did it over the holidays. They offered NO option for weekly testing. They then discriminated against the at least FIFTY people that had legitimate religious accommodation requests, but we’re denied and told their beliefs were insufficient and illegitimate with NO EXPLANATION. They lied to the media and tried to say they were only requiring it for client facing roles. WRONG, they fired people that are completely 100% remote. They claimed to provide religious exemptions. WRONG, anyone that applied for one knows that is a joke. Do not work for this company unless you enjoy being coerced to do things against your own free will or being discriminated against. They claim to be inclusive but are the FURTHEST thing from it. Enjoy the tyranny of Malcolm and HR. The morale at this company could not get any worse. Stay far far away.

Heartless and Cruel while acting Woke

Pros

Some of the best reasons are in the past (managers who valued their employees used to be predominant and employees felt valued). You can still get decent and interesting work, good pay and benefits, but be ready to pay the price of an out of balance work-life workload and with working under overbearing and micromanagers.

Cons

Workload heavy and impacts life balance. Vaccine mandate was delivered in a very cruel way. Management is and was not concerned that previously valued employees expressed serious concerns and reservations over the mandate. Requests for Exemptions were all denied. Mass exodus of skilled and (formerly) valued employees and morale of many remaining is low.
