Pros

Good Benefit Package; nice bonus if the company meets the yearly goal; green work environment; great cafe and on premises heath club; convenient parking garage; vacation buy available; compressed work week Memorial Day-Labor Day available(not always approved). Some very interesting work and projects; Tuition reimbursement on a selective basis.

Cons

dated management philosophy; minimal salary increases; inconsistancy in applcation of company policies; token women in upper management; favoritism; ineffective and biased HR Dept; tendancy to force seasoned employees to corrective plans and retirement; untimely inclimate weather office closing; use of sick days discouraged (although generous); Company/HR policies are subject to managers discretion. Job opportunities are not fair game; company culture has undergone distinct change from congenial warm to stark business in recent years. This company can greatly fluxuate in ratings depending on individual experiences.

Pros

Totally enjoyed working with colleagues. Everyone worked together to complete projects on time. Everyone strives to do produce great work. There was a very good sense of team work and camaraderie.

Cons

Managers were constantly getting in the way of progress and micro managing. They took all the credit when a project was successful and gave the subordinates all the blame when it was not successful. It is also a company who depends a lot on their engineers for running the business and therefore it is the engineers who get most of the focus. There are a lot more opportunities for employees who have engineering degrees than there are for those who do not.
